Teams are made up of 3 or 4 youth, 15-18 years of age (as of September 28). Gather some friends and make a team to represent your school, club or team.

Categories include, Mixed, Open, Female and Male.

Some schools or clubs may require adult supervision to meet the requirements of an approved field trip. An adult may accompany the team during the event, but may not assist in the competitive elements of the race (navigation, bike mechanical, etc.)

The Championship will combine mountain biking, trekking/running and overland navigation in a 3-5 hour, run-bike-run format.

While traditional adventure racing typically includes paddling, there will be no paddling elements in 2024.

 There are a limited number of teams spots available (75 teams of 3 or 4 participants) in 2024.

​

Individual registration has been subsidized to $55/person ($35 supervising adult).

The primary goal of the Youth Adventure Racing Championship is to grow the sport of AR in Western Canada. Contact us for more information to support you and your team in preparing for this event.

First and foremost, we aim to create an event that will motivate you to experience future AR events. Additionally, participants will receive a team Racer Package, race maps, bike plate and runners bib, finish line snacks, draw prizes, first aid support and more.
