New Race Format!

Rocky Mountain Adventure Racing presents the Arctic Fox Winter Adventure Race. This is a stage-style race that you (and, if you'd like, a teammate ) can take part in... in February.

February 28, 2026

Race Information

The Arctic Fox Winter Adventure Race is a one-day winter challenge that combines two exciting disciplines — Nordic skiing in the morning and fatbiking in the afternoon. Set in the heart of the Alberta Rockies, this event offers participants the chance to test their endurance, navigation, and strategy across two distinct stages on snow-covered trails. Each stage lasts up to three hours, with racers competing solo or in teams (taking on the course together or as a relay) to complete as many checkpoints as possible within the time limit. Whether you’re an experienced adventure racer or new to winter racing, the Arctic Fox Winter Adventure Race delivers a fun, supportive, and unforgettable way to embrace the season and celebrate the spirit of winter adventure.

Teams & Individuals

Participants can register as an individual or they can team up and take part as a team of two. Teams can do both stages together or - new this year! - as a relay (each doing one stage).
